Determining the height of your Launch

A scientific calculator is very helpful in making this determination. To determine the height of your launch, it is the distance of the baseline times the Tangent of the Angle. So if you are 400 feet away and the rocket is 30 degrees then the height is 400 X Tangent (30)= 400 X .58 = 232 feet.
