This summer my son and I built a Hydrogen Powered Rocket. Whenever we went to launch these Rockets we drew crowds of people, asking how it was made and how it worked.
A general overview is that the Hydrogen is generated through the electrolysis of water. The rocket launcher combust the Hydrogen Gas in a confined space creating pressurized gas. The pressurized gas moves out of the rocket nozzle at high velocity creating lift off. Launching the rocket 300 feet or more!!!

I received such a strong response from people wanting to build one for themselves,I created this web site.
This easy to build plan for a hydrogen rocket can provide hours of fun for the entire family. You can launch all day using only two small 6 volt lantern batteries, water and a teaspoon of baking soda.
The launch pad is inexpensive to build about $8.00. It can be built from materials around the home and/or from your local hardware store in about two hours.
